Our calendar went down really well in London, People loved the coloured cards with the white ink. Here's another shot from the photo shoot, they will be available to buy from next week. Nothing like a frightening deadline to get things finished.

Chocolate creative, she's got a lovely way of combining hand embroidery with digital print and fine fabrics, Margarita has a proper blog with fantastic recent pictures of a trip home to Gran Canaria Very lovely.

Peter&Pauls new roost

As well as our new calendar we given Peter&Paul somewhere to roost. The Peter&Paul Perch is made from English Ash and comes with 5 Bird clips
The Perch is a great way to keep important paper work to hand in the office or somewhere to keep precious pictures and family things at home. It measure's 50cm long and comes with either white black or red bird clips and will be available from our site and our retailers very soon.

Our new Calendar

We've been working on a perpetual calendar based on Church Hymn boards. We love the way the numbers are printed on thick card and slide into place. Our calendar is made from a composite material which is a mixture of stone powder and resin used for making surfboards, the cards are hand printed and cut in the workshop in a range of colours. We're launching the calendar this weekend at the Home show at Earls Court on Sunday so this is just a sneeky peek from the photo shoot we did this week.

Patrick Martin Cole

Having looked for a very long time we have finally found a planer/thicknesser for machining timber. It came from a guitar maker called Martin Cole who had the most incredible workshop. The guitar pattern on the bench is the last he plans on making due to years of fine wood dust affecting his health and more importantly his singing voice.
It gone to a good home Martin.

We've just about finished our cargo bike ready for the last few weeks of post office runs before Christmas, we've welded, sanded, paint, polished and tuned this collection of cobbled together old bits and are really proud of her. This is a pattern we've been working on for a new product we are going to launch in January. The products inspired by church hymn boards, it has to be sanded a bit more, then painted then sanded again, then polished a lot!

I was very excited to see a long tailed tit in our garden.

Long-tailed Tit's nests are small balls made from moss, spiders' webs, lichen, feathers, and hair that is built by both male and female birds in a bush, hedge or tree. It can take up to 3 weeks to build and be lined with more than 2000 feathers...

We are really excited to find our Terracotta Bird house occupied for a third year...

Do not despair if your bird house is not used straight away, it can take a while for birds to find a new nest site, but when they do they often return annually.
